Survey: Confirmation Times
Parents, last Sunday during the confirmation meeting, we had a survey on confirmation times. We are exploring different options with various feedback that we have received over the last few weeks. If you did not do a survey, we ask you to please do it. If you can do the survey (on line - via email or comment section here) by Wednesday, the 1st; that would be great. This is just an "informational survey" so we can have a better understanding of where families are at while we discuss the purpose of confirmation and the best way that we can partner with parents and students to make confirmation the best experience as possible.
What time would be the best time for your family to have confirmation (CrossTrainers) ?
______ Sunday Morning at 9:30
______ Sunday Morning at 10:45
______ Sunday Night at 6:00 pm
______ Weeknight
Please list them in preference ( 1 - 4 ) with 1 being the best and 4 being the worst.

Parents, I just wanted to say thank-you for coming out to the CrossTrainers parents meeting. We had a good turnout. Hopefully, the meeting was helpful for you to see what we were doing and to have an opportunity to meet a few individuals and here a little about the ministry and catch a glimpse of Spring Hill and get some of the forms in. Remember, it all starts September 12th !!

The Schedule
We have made a few small tweaks in the confirmation program this year. We have not done anything that is earth-shattering but we hope that these small changes will help us in the flow of lessons and to help us be more impactful in what we teach and the students learn. Thus, this year, we have switched to 7-series for confirmation. Here they are and the order that we will be teaching them:
Series 1: Sacraments (4 weeks)
Series 2: The Creed (4 weeks)
Series 3: Martin Luther (2 weeks)
Series 4: Ten Commandments (5 weeks)
Series 5: Theology (3 weeks)
Series 6: Faith & Religion (3 weeks)
Series 7: Stewardship (2 weeks)
We look forward to diving into these series through large group, small group and more importantly the discussions in the homes.

Parents Meeting
On Sunday, August 22nd at 10am, we will be having a parent meeting for those parents who have students in Cross Trainers. At this meeting, we will go over the schedule for the year. We will also give you insight on what Sunday mornings will look like for your child. We will also use this time to show you a Spring Hill video (confirmation retreat) and have time for questions and answers. We hope to see you there.
